ABOUT ROBERT NORRIS

Robert Norris, a native Atlantan, earned his degree in Architecture with honors from Southern Institute of Technology. Before founding Spitzmiller & Norris, he worked as an architectural consultant for a distinguished residential developer. Robert is a member of the American Institute of Architects, involved in the Atlanta Preservation Center, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the National Trust for Preservation, The Piedmont Conservancy and like Rick, supports the High Museum of Art, Open Hand and Atlanta Pet Rescue. Robert is a passionate gardener and member of the Atlanta Botanical Garden. His home has been featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine numerous times,Southern Accents Magazine and HGTV\'s \"Homes Across America\". His stunning private garden has been featured in the Atlanta Botanical Garden Connoisseurs Tour and most recently the High Museum of Art\'s \"Artful Garden Tour\", as well as being widely published. His garden is on the cover of Tara Dillard’s “Garden Path’s and Stepping Stones recent book. Robert’s award winning talent in designing the interior living spaces of Spitzmiller & Norris homes is exceptional. We have maintained our office in Atlanta since 1985 and are experienced in designing plans for the construction of new houses, the remodeling of existing houses, resort houses and the proper restoration of historic houses
