ABOUT ROBERT F. PRENDERGAST

With over 30 years of experience in the legal field, I am a Global Trade Licensing Senior Manager at Raytheon, a leading defense and aerospace company. I manage the import and export compliance of Raytheon\'s products and services, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. I also support the Office of General Counsel, providing legal advice and guidance on various matters related to global trade. I have developed and implemented policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance the global trade compliance culture and performance of Raytheon. I have also worked with internal and external stakeholders, such as business units, customers, suppliers, government agencies, and industry associations, to facilitate and streamline the global trade licensing process. Some of my key achievements include securing multiple complex export licenses, resolving compliance issues, and leading cross-functional teams. I have a JD from Massachusetts School of Law and a BA in Legal Studies and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I have strong skills in corporate law, law, and legal compliance. I am passionate about global trade and its impact on national security, economic development, and innovation.
