In February 2016, Gowlings and Wragge Lawrence Graham combined as Gowling WLG to create a strengthened global legal firm. I work in the nuclear practice of the firm, both in Canada and the UK. Worldwide, the firm has particular strength in the nuclear sector from taking forward new build, providing operational support, late life and decommissioning and uranium and fuel procurement as well as governance of nuclear in a tightly regulated environment and understanding nuclear liability exposures. My experience covers the issues arising in nuclear new build,operating nuclear generators and in providing for and preparing for nuclear decommissioning.
