Field Service Technician – Pentair Valves & Controls June 2013 – Present (BP Magnus rotation since Aug 2015) • Interact with Mechanical Supervisor and Maintenance team leader for all PSV work scopes including shutdown and TAR work scopes. • Fully participate in BP’s safety culture adhering to procedures, golden rules, codes of conduct and always following the 3 F’s rule (Follow the rules, Finish what we start and Follow up). • Maximise reliability, availability and efficiency of Safety critical PSV’s by performing risk based inspections (RBI), identifying materials required for next service. • Reviews planned maintenance system (Maximo) job plans and identify additional resource required to carry out the tasks. • Participate in root cause failure analysis when required. • Prepare field service reports, maintain client database systems and formulate work to specific procedures including PTW (ISSOW), GOC’s and risk assessments. • Perform valve overhaul, testing and maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures and demonstrating highest standards.(API, ASME and Marine Cargo Operations standards). • Assist in the development of other Technicians and Apprentices by sharing knowledge and expertise as appropriate. • Ensure all activities are performed safely and accurately in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies and company guidelines. • Repair, Servicing and Maintenance of all Plant and tools. • Preparation of documents on the maintenance and repairs of all equipment and systems.

Currently working as a Safety Valve technician on the BP Magnus platform maintaining, overhauling, servicing and calibrating PSV’s, gauges, valves and any other equipment as required by the customer.
