ABOUT ROB SHMALO
I am a partner in Proskauer’s Real Estate Department and a member of the Real Asset and Hospitality, Gaming & Leisure Groups. I have over 20 years of experience representing real estate investors, private equity firms and participants in complex transactions involving a wide variety of uses of real estate. I work closely with real estate companies acquiring, developing and managing real estate investments and I have significant experience advising clients across a range of industries on large and mid-market deals, including global gaming, hospitality and entertainment companies. I also regularly advise on real asset secondaries transactions.I am currently on the Advisory Board of NYU Stern’s Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance and a member of the Board of Directors of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest.
