Accountable and responsible for overall ownership, management and operational support of the Barclays Desktop Support Services Globally. Provide structured leadership through the transition of the desktop service, aligned with Barclays transformation programs. Lead in the design and delivery of the operational elements of a target operating model based on the transformation end state. Global support of the physical desktop and print estate. Global support of the virtual desktop and remote access services. Global support of remote desktop support team and the drive for simplification and automation Operational lead for UK hours of the 24x7 support model. Resource Management – Monitoring of staffing / allocation / forward planning aligned with the BCS program deliverables. Financial – Accountable for operational components of the BCS run budget. Reporting – Ensure that operational metrics for the Desktop Service are clearly defined and delivered to show the governance of the service.
