ABOUT RISHABH THAKUR
I’m a Data Engineer who enjoys building systems that behave predictably at scale. Over the past few years I’ve worked on AWS-first data platforms, designing ETL pipelines that process millions of records a day and support multi-billion-record datasets.I like solving the “hard edges” of data engineering: inconsistent upstreams, schema drift, failing jobs, unreliable pipelines. I built the config-driven ETL framework and observability architecture used across my organisation, helping teams standardise ingestion and cut pipeline costs by ~60%. Automated quality checks I introduced reduced user-reported issues from several per release to zero.I currently own four enterprise data domains end-to-end, including full ownership of the Submission data domain. Alongside the technical work, I enjoy helping teams work faster—I introduced GenAI workflows and wrote our internal playbook, which reduced feature development effort by about 40%.I’m motivated by building reliable systems, improving data quality, and designing patterns that help teams move faster with fewer mistakes.
