ABOUT VALENTINA RODRIGUES

I\'m a Principal Software Engineer leading a data engineering team that builds AI-powered platforms and third-party data integrations in the insurance space. My current focus is building an agentic platform on AWS Bedrock that gives multiple teams a plug-and-play interface to AI-driven data discovery and root cause analysis.Over the past decade, spanning academia, a startup, consultancy, and enterprise, I\'ve learned that the hard part of engineering isn\'t the code. It\'s getting teams aligned, making the right architectural bets early, and building platforms that other engineers actually want to use. That\'s what drives my work.Beyond delivery, I invest in the health of the systems and teams I work with. That means facilitating reviews across teams, resolving critical infrastructure incidents under pressure, and running AI workshops to bring my team along on what\'s changing in our industry.I\'m currently completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, deliberately building out the business and strategy lens that technical leadership requires at scale. I\'m interested in the intersection of engineering, product, and organisational design, and increasingly focused on what it looks like to lead at that intersection.
