Material requirements planning. Establish and maintain supply system to insure uninterrupted supply of required materials.• Resolve quality, quantity and delivery issues with suppliers.• Negotiate to attain lowest possible total cost for the required quality of the materials and services necessary to complete all throughputs. Review vendor bids and proposals.• Maintain high level of knowledge about suppliers, supplier’s timelines, novel materials, and market conditions to support strategic sourcing decisions.• Print interpretation and material takeoff with database input for project management verification.• Contractor and Architect RFI.• New vendor qualification.• Conduct vendor and subcontractor performance evaluations. • Manage and evaluate need for project buyouts and all subcontract services.• New equipment research, acquisition, and implementation and obsolete equipment disposal.• Project management of all building/facility improvements and add-ons.• Develop warehousing, receiving, and inventory control procedures/software.• Just-in-time procurement and the evaluation of all materials, supplies, and equipment/tooling related to job, production, office, engineering, finish, and shop. Write all purchase orders.• Estimating department support and small project management.• Maintain a complete knowledge of AWI Standards/Specifications.• Software: Intuit Quickbooks (AP, GL, PO, Job Cost, Inventory)
