Provide organizational leadership for new program development strategies, approving organizational partnerships, developing and securing public, multilateral and private resources to address global issues with maternal and neonatal mortality, health systems, family planning, infectious and non-communicable diseases. Overall program portfolio increased ten-fold since arrival, from $40M to $400M, establishing organization as the number 2 recipient of USAID cooperative agreements in health, including winning large field projects from USAID in Kenya, Afghanistan, Malawi, Ethiopia, Angola, Philippines and Indonesia. Led proposal which prompted USAID to split its flagship global innovations for health project in two (Accelovate), as well as securing global maternal and child health flagship project for the US government (RMNCH/MCSP). Increased number of donors from 8 to 31. Facilitated urban health strategy. Have worked in twenty different SE Asian, Central Asian, Sub-Saharan African and Latin American countries. Developed capacity building system to enable decentralized business development in the field.
