I am a partner in the global financial services regulatory team at Ashurst. I am also a member of our Digital Finance & FinTech Practice and regularly advise on digitalisation topics impacting financial services or the regulatory perimeter. I advise on all aspects of UK and EU financial regulation. I focus on digitalisation, digital finance and all things FinTech and RegTech. I advise entrepreneurs and start-ups, exciting scale-ups and some of the world\'s biggest global financial institutions and tech companies. I advise clients on: • the transition to digital assets and digital money, new capital and payments market infrastructure and cryptoassets. • open banking -> open finance and the use of data in financial services. • payment services and new forms of digital money and cross border payments. • digital trading platforms, digital wealth managers and robo-advisers. • disruptive asset management firms (including cryptoasset funds and tokenised funds). I also advise clients how to build operationally resilient digital platforms, including designing outsourcing and operational resilience policies and frameworks to handling third party and intra-group risk management. I also advise some of the leading global fund and asset managers on structuring funds and fund management houses, distributing them globally and day to day compliance and conduct issues.
