Passionate about human rights with an interest in progressively contributing towards the SDGs, have been working in the development sector on ensuring responsible business practices for corporates, and human rights and social sustainability within supply chains across various sectors and regions. Stakeholder engagement at micro and macro level, as part of international dialogue, policy making and knowledge management with International Development Institutions, Multinationals, Indian Government Agencies and Business federations as part of multi stakeholder engagement. Exprienced in research; in policy and legal analysis; and responding to vulnerable beneficiaries in a human rights context through a wide range of placements at organisations that work on: Sustainable finance (ERM), Fair Labour practices (Association for Stimulating Know-how (ASK)) Women’s rights and child welfare (Human Rights Law Network, National Women’s Commission); Refugee Protection and Community Services (UNHCR) and Sexual and reproductive health rights (Marie Stopes International).
