ABOUT GAYLA SHULHAN

I am a versatile IT Professional with extensive experience working on complex multi-faceted projects, in Business Analysis, Organizational Change Management, and Business Process Improvements. I love a challenge and problem solving collaboratively with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions to meet challenging business opportunities. I am credited with excellent communication skills: written documentation, group presentations, 1-1 mentoring, as well as facilitating effective meetings of any size. I am used to working in fast-paced environments, multi-tasking on several projects, or multiple areas of large projects. I am passionate about seeing the project from start to finish, participating in the business case development, scoping or RFP process, requirements, solutions and design, estimating, timelines, impact analysis, change management, training, testing, deployment and support. I am also an experienced Product Owner on large scale applications and am passionate about agile software delivery practices and methodologies. Within this capacity I elicit the requirements from various Stakeholders and document them in the form of Epics and User Stories, working with UX, Product Manager, language translations and developers to ensure the requirements are complete before the start of the sprint.I have led a variety of IT teams and enjoy mentoring a group of enthusiastic colleagues. My management strengths lie in building teams through an inclusive approach of listening to others and providing guidance and training when necessary.
