ABOUT RIANNA KAUR

Creativity mixed with strategic-thinking? Right up my street.I am targeting roles in communications, copywriting and marketing asset creation, because I love roles where I can challenge myself whilst getting to explore my creative side. I love building marketing that makes people stop, think, and act.With a marketing and communications background, my experience spans copywriting, communications, asset creation, events marketing, PR and outreach. I\'m comfortable with both digital and physical marketing, having written SEO-optimised blogs, webpage copy, formal reports and shortlisted award submissions, built landing pages and email templates, created one-pagers and e-catalogues, and shaped social content for five different platforms, both in static and video format. Turning technical briefs into engaging assets within tight deadlines is a task I enjoy taking on.Turning to my experience, I have supported both external and internal events, from registration to on-site delivery, including the handling of 600 registrants\' data, as well as budget allocations for vendors at a attendee event. I\'ve produced full asset suites for smaller-scale events, including one-pagers, landing pages, blogs and registration journeys. I am also comfortable delivering insights and articles to external publications, building brand recognition and voice. With social media, I\'ve taken on the initiative to build templates and a regular posting rhythm, using engagement data to inform both. Lastly, I\'ve had ownership over CRM systems such as Klaviyo and Brevo, building a successful warming series for contacts, evidenced by the reach to the site from email increasing by 30%. I work by continuously improving my output, using segmentation, A/B testing and audience and competitor research to refine sends. Academically, I also embarked on the role of Vice-President for two societies simultaneously, coordinating events and social media, all whilst attaining my 1st Class Degree of BA (Hons) Politics and Social Policy (Industrial) at the University of Leeds.If you\'d like to know about me outside of a professional setting, I love socialising, colour, walking, dancing, reading, recreational badminton and the gym!
