ABOUT RIA JALAN

I am a junior at the University of Southern California studying International Relations with a track in Global Business Management and I am pursuing a minor in Management Consulting. My coursework includes Management Consulting, Financial Accounting, International Negotiations, and Business Statistics. Outside the classroom, I am involved in 3 student organizations with leadership positions. Through 180 Degrees Consulting, I have gained exposure and experience as a consultant and a Project Manager which has helped me further my interest in the field of Management Consulting and Global Strategy. I enjoy working in teams to collect information, create new concepts, and find innovative approaches to applying said ideas. In the last year, I have successfully interned at three different companies; the first being the leading Asset Management Company in India, HDFC Mutual Funds, and the second at The Advance group, a political consulting firm based in New York. Through my recent experiences, I have strengthened my analytical, technical, and communication skills. And most recently, I spent my summer as a Business Analyst Intern at SKN Advisors in London, England. The firm specializes in consulting services for high-end clients across the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and India.
