I\'m an tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer with nearly 20 years experience in the hard rock mining industry in various senior engineer and superintendent roles. Vast exposure to design, drafting, procurement, construction, commissioning, maintenance, reliability and production activities. Experienced in all aspects of mining/manufacturing including mining, ore handling, ore processing, chemical production and shipping/loading/railing.I have excellent focus on safety and I am in tune with current safety requirements specified under the mining and quarrying legislation as well as Australian Standards.I am currently the Senior Electrical Engineer at Dugald River Mine. My responsibilities include-Primary PCEW with responsibility for management of electrical safety on site-Maintenance strategy management for all aspects of the surface and underground operation-Statutory compliance-Support maintenance activity with technical input-Identify, manage and correct reliability issues. Execute physical improvements in plant and/or strategy-Identify capital upgrades/improvement to incorporate into the sites capital management cycles-Mentor and manage graduate and vacation engineers-Manage critical electrical functions on site such as high voltage electrical supply and reticulation, low voltage systems and instrumentation
