Responsible for the implementation of all company policies/procedures, employee safety and customer centric practices while ensuring company values and competencies are practiced throughout the facility at all levels. Effectively direct, lead and coach both direct and indirect reports to create a working environment that maximizes Best Buy profitability. Responsibilities: Direct the activites of center operations, treansporation, human capital and engineering disciplines ensuring accountability for readiness to support up to 200 Best Buy Retail Locations. The hiring, development and retention of staff to include the highest quality individuals to support continuous improvement, succession planning and future growth of the business. Create and maintain an environment of continuous learning and development where team members have a low resistance to change ensuring continuous improvement. Focused on the development of customer centric goals with a strong emphasis on order accuracy and integrity. Ensure personal and staff accessibility to resolve issues within the store regions serviced by the distribution center. Responsibility for an operating budget up to $20 million to process cartons inbound/outbound to retail stores and ecommerce customers. Collaborate with business leaders in the organization to design, develop, or implement special projects as needed.
