ABOUT REINALDO DE SOUZA

I am a T-shaped (master generalist) software engineer with over 15 years of experience delivering software projects. I can design, write, release, deploy, operate both web services and their elastic infrastructure platform. I can play tech leadership roles in both software development (programming) and platform engineering (DevOps) teams.As a Tech Lead, I am responsible for the execution of software projects, including- establishing a collaboration framework- defining a roadmap and milestones from project deliverables- managing risks and daily execution of a project- supporting the delivery team- contributing to the project delivery.As a consultant, I build relationships with partners to ship software that delivers value, choose the right tool for the job in an agile manner to help them stay competitive and innovative.I am particularly interested in the challenges of designing and operating distributed systems at scale, and the approach proposed by cloud-native technologies.
