ABOUT REBECCA LEASK

I am a Partner within the corporate department and Joint Head of the Healthcare team at Harrison Clark Rickerbys (HCR). I joined the team in September 2005 and was promoted to partner in 2014 and further promoted to head of Healthcare in October 2019. In addition to my work as a solicitor, I am also a qualified barrister and Notary Public. I sit on the board of the West Midlands Care Association and am a Trustee of Championing Social Care.My focus is assisting businesses to achieve their potential, whether through buying, selling or restructuring. My expertise is regularly called upon to speak at various Health and Social Care conferences and seminars and contributing to sector press articles.HCR\'s Health and Social Care team has an enviable position in the healthcare legal services market, combining specialism with breadth. The team has a particular focus on healthcare transactions, having acted on over 150 deals with a total deal value of over £200 million in 2023 and is acknowledged as both highly responsive and strategic. The breadth of our practice in terms of clients we work with and the services we can offer across the Health and Social care marketplace distinguishes us from the competition. We work with doctors, dentists, pharmacies, health and social care providers (including childrens’ services) and their advisors and funders, we’ve helped them all. This is demonstrated by our nomination as finalists of the Health Investor Awards and LaingBuisson Awards in 2023.We have a broad range of specialists that can help at every step of the journey, who understand the particular challenges of this sector and what it takes to get a successful outcome for clients.
