Quality Control Manager Apr 2016 - CurrentManage the Quality Control Team as they perform 100% of all student loan and personal loan reviews prior to funding the loans. • Develop and implement a new three pronged review of student loans which consists of reviewing: 100% of all loans prior to the borrower receiving an Approval, 100% of all loans post-closing, 100% of all Instant Denials as well as a 10% sample of all manual Denials• Directly engage the engineering department to create enhancements to the loan origination system • Implement a 24-48 hour turnaround time for all quality control reviews • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within the Quality Control Process• Maintain a less than 1% error rate for an entire calendar year for all bank deals, securitizations, and both internal and external auditors• Develop individual and manager scorecards, Key Performance Metrics and Key Risk Indicators for the Quality Control Department• Manage the creation of all bank deal loan documentation and respond to all inquiries from bank encounters• Develop an on-going Quality Control review to inspect our vendors and the maintenance of the student loan and personal loan portfolios• Engage with internal/external auditors regarding the integrity of the loan files and Quality Control Process • Manage the transfer and on-going review of the Final Quality Control Process to a third party vendor as well as a team of 5 colleagues located off-shore• Create and document procedures for all Quality Control functions
