Directly reporting to the Company\'s Chief Legal Officer, providing the following services to ensure the Company\'s achievement of strategic goals and operational efficiencies: • Manages complex legal matters, including to serve as the lead point of contact on assigned projects and collaborates with cross-functional business leaders and senior management • Provides legal counsel for all marketing and advertising related initiatives including trademark management and guidance, campaign and ad development, contests/sweepstakes compliance and sponsorship negotiations • Drafts, reviews, revises, and negotiates legal agreements, including distribution/supply chain, formula development agreements, franchise agreements, IT/software licensing agreements, sponsorship and licensing agreements, sweepstakes and contests, non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, letters of intent, and due diligence projects• Identifies, manages, and implements efficiencies to legal operations projects and designs and implements policies and procedures intended to create a Legal Department that is more productive, efficient, and cost-effective• Assists in M&A transactions with proven track record as leader in development of due diligence trackers and expertise in cross-referencing and confirmation of inter-department data points• Maintains proficiency in franchise law, annual FDD filings and legal considerations in franchising• Manages the development and enforcement of the Legal Department’s administrative processes • Assists in the management, training and motivation of administrative staff and junior attorneys• Manages implementation of cross functional vendors with impact on legal department processes
