ABOUT JACK LAFAVE

I am a 1L at UNC Law excited to start my journey in the legal world. As a North Carolina native, I am especially proud to be a \"double Tar Heel.\" I\'ve had the privilege of studying law at UNC, where I received my bachelor\'s degree last May with a Political Science and History degree with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). I\'ve been fortunate to be able to give back to the school while sharpening my analytical skills as a leader in the UNC Honor System- both as an undergraduate and now as a law student. Additionally, I am currently serving as a Graduate Student President appointee on the Committee on Student Conduct, working directly on the University\'s code of conduct. As an undergraduate, I worked with the UNC University System as the ASG Chief of Staff, furthering my exposure to administrative operations. My summers were dedicated to working with TIAA as a financial compliance intern, where I gained valuable insights into regulatory frameworks. I am enthusiastic about exploring new legal opportunities in North Carolina and beyond!
