ABOUT REBECCA LEWIS

I worked in the clerical field for many years and decided it was time for a change so I made the move to sales. I currently work at KGET Channel 17 (Nexstar Media Group) in Bakersfield as an Account Executive Previous to working in my current position I worked at KBAK/KBFX Sinclair Broadcast Group as a Marketing Consultant for almost 5 years and then prior to that the Spanish Radio Group as an advertising account executive for a year, prior to that I worked at TBC Media as a Major Retail Accounts Executive for 3 years.Before deciding to make a career move into sales I worked at Mercy Hospital for 6 years. I started as a staffing specialist and quickly advanced to a file clerk in the Medical Records department and then in 2007 was hired for the secretary position in the Florence R. Wheeler Cancer Center where I enjoyed working until my position unfortunately was eliminated due to lay-offs in Jan 2012. But. without this blessing in disguise (the layoff), I would not be where I\'m at now and therefore I\'m grateful because I love what I do and I can\'t imagine doing anything else.
