I manage the sole design team to create and implement beautiful, intuitive interfaces and experiences to a streaming product suite that has grown rapidly with the emergence of Covid19. This has included leading the development of a design system, the implementation of design processes in both the design team and across the business, new feature development, input on the product strategy and vision plus a brand refresh. I work closely with the founder and group leads, including Lead Engineers to ensure the product meets the clients and users needs, and remains relevant in the ever changing climate.

I have several years’ experience leading design teams under the role of UI/UX Director and Lead Product Designer. My focus is on establishing and reinforcing a creative vision that aligns to business, brand and product goals to drive strategies forward and clearly articulating this to empower cross-functional collaboration to achieve high business results and customer needs. My strength lies in communicating design strategy with key stakeholders, group leads and within the design team, and overseeing and navigating design vision, strategy, evolution and cohesion across ecosystems - ensuring beautiful, purposeful solutions with high standards of simplicity and usability are output by high performing, happy, design teams. I’m experienced in creating safe, positive, forward focused, collaborative team environments in which designers are empowered to grow and flourish. My focus is on the quality of output and the health and happiness of team members and organisation as a whole. I enjoy mentoring and motivating designers to grow to the best of their ability and believe creating a foundation for great innovation ensures great outcomes for the business and team. I have a strong sense of design ethics and principles, and provide hands on design direction and practices to lead teams to produce outstanding work. I work hard to always to connect with my audience and have excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills. I value contributions and different perspectives, and have a proactive attitude seeking out opportunities and improvements wherever I go.
