ABOUT JOSH HUNT

I’m a fractional marketing leader with over 15 years’ experience helping businesses grow with clarity, strategy, and strong, supported teams. My path into marketing wasn’t linear. I started out touring the UK as a musician in my late teens, chasing creativity and connection from the back of an old Royal Mail van. Eventually, that hunger for meaning (and something more sustainable than beer and bar snacks) led me to study business, where I found myself drawn to how people think, what motivates them, and how stories and data can shape behaviour. That curiosity is still what drives me. Since then, I’ve worked across agencies, scale-ups, and established SMEs - leading multidisciplinary teams and marketing functions through growth, restructuring, and reinvention. I’ve built teams from scratch, mentored talent into leadership, and brought cohesion to departments that had lost their direction. I’ve worked across every major marketing function - from performance and e-commerce to brand, content, and analytics - which helps me see the big picture and focus efforts where they’ll make the most difference. My leadership style is grounded in empathy, trust, and clarity. I believe in creating environments where people feel seen, supported, and challenged in the right ways - because that’s where the best work happens. I bring calm, direction, and the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges, whether that’s stepping in to provide interim leadership, guiding strategic change, or developing internal capability for long-term growth.
