ABOUT RHUTA J.
I am Rhuta Joshi (she/her), a Software Engineer at Autodesk, working on the Incubation Team with Autodesk WorkshopXR. With a background in computer graphics, I specialize in creating immersive VR experiences.Drawn to graphics and animation for their ability to deliver sensitive and engaging stories, I now explore immersive technologies to develop tools for such experiences. Enjoying both the production process and the final outcome has been a beautiful journey.My journey with immersive realities began in 2019 with my first AR project during undergraduate studies. Since then, I have worked on numerous AR apps, VR games, and prototypes. I started as an intern at Autodesk in 2022 and joined the team full-time in 2023, contributing to the development of XR tools and projects.I am proficient in C++, Unreal Engine, and Meta XR APIs, bringing strong technical capabilities to my work.Outside of my professional life, I enjoy immersing myself in Indian cinema and music, sketching, painting, biking, and DIY creative art projects at home.
