As the technical sales engineer for Prochem Services I work closely with our customers discussing their requirements over the phone and writing quotations for them. One of the best parts of my job is having a quote accepted and then overseeing the entire process from design through manufacture to the finished product. I help with the design of our equipment creating technical drawings either by hand or CAD drawings. After the design process is satisfactorily completed, the product can be created using any of a wide range of materials including polypropylene, PVC, stainless steels such as 316 and 316L. I am responsible for monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ensuring we have the suitable materials needed for manufacturing. Close collaboration with our distributors: Durholdt (UK), Avanti Process Technologies Inc.(US), Ecochem Pumps Ltd (South Africa), Meurs Process (Netherlands), and FAPO (Poland) to check stock, exchange ideas and reallocate business. Prochem are always looking for new international distributors to obtain additional business throughout the world.Prochem Services products are sold to a wide range of industries including the pharmaceutical and semiconductor fields where contamination is unacceptable and a high standard specification is demanded. We supply chemical dosing equipment (skids) to larger companies as well as the separate smaller parts that make up the equipment.I spend a portion of my time working on the shop floor helping with the manufacturing of our bespoke equipment.
