ABOUT RAY JACKMAN
In 1973 I was employed by Daly Heating and undertook my H&V apprenticeship from 1973 to 1977. I was then promoted to pipefitter welder having completed my exams and stayed for 3 years. In 1980 I decided to go to Europe. Whilst in Cologne Germany I worked for several agencies before securing a permanent role with a tank and bridge welding company. I returned back England in 1981 and began working for F.E.Cole & Son as a pipefitter welder. In 1985 I was promoted to contracts manager overseeing several term contracts for the Ministry of Defence. In 1987 I began the role of sales estimating engineer and continued with this role until I returned back to Daly mid as a sales estimating engineer. In 2001 I was promoted to sales estimating manager which is my current role.
