Hi, I\'m Raphael Schwartz, a driven and passionate individual with a keen interest in the intersection of politics, philosophy, and economics. My academic journey has been a whirlwind of rigorous studies, international experiences, and a consistent pursuit of excellence. Whether it\'s diving deep into the complexities of economic theories or co-founding an initiative to bridge educational gaps, I am always striving to make a tangible impact.During my time at the University of Exeter, I earned a First-Class degree in PPE and received a Dean\'s Commendation for Exceptional Performance. My dissertation, which involved a quantitative re-test of the Easterlin Paradox in post-GFC European economies, earned an impressive 83%. This academic journey was further enriched by a year abroad at the University of New South Wales, where I was ranked in the top 96th percentile.But it\'s not just about academics for me. I co-founded TailormadeTutors, where I led a team to provide free, high-quality education to underprivileged students, significantly improving their academic outcomes. I’m proud of the measurable impact we made, bridging achievement gaps and enhancing opportunities for countless students.In the retail world, my roles at Marcs in Sydney and Bose in Avignon honed my ability to connect with customers and drive sales—boosting store sales by 18% and 22%, respectively. These experiences taught me the importance of understanding customer needs and delivering beyond expectations. Spearheaded a tutoring initiative that enhanced educational outcomes for underprivileged students across London. Improved store revenue by up to 22% through strategic customer engagement and upselling at Bose and Marcs. Fluent in English and French, with advanced proficiency in German (B2-C1 level).Outside of work, I\'m a sports enthusiast with years of leadership experience in tennis, football, and basketball.
