Oversee programmes of work to support Talent Management, Leadership Development, Staff Engagement and HWB within the Workforce Training and Education Directorate.Leading a large portfolio of programmes to support provider organisations in developing and implementing their own strategies, enabling local health economies to develop best practice, establish Regional Talent Board and lead/support a range of high profile national initiatives.• Management of a large team, budgets and portfolios of programmed activities• Setting up the Talent Board in ensuring that the Regional’s approach to TM is fit for the future• Supporting and ensuring that the NHS’s national approach to TM is identifying, testing, evaluating and as appropriate adopting innovative and ‘industry gold standard’ practices, to support leadership development and TM.• Design and implementation of the TM strategy focusing on Aspiring Exe Director and Aspiring CEO talent management and leadership development offers• Leading and directing leadership development programme deliverables.• Leading other workstreams as identified to support programmes as they continue to evolve• Broader senior member within the Workforce Training and Education Directorate – joining up leadership, systems and stepping in as deputy for the Director • Influencing senior leaders across the systems - working in ambiguity, working across boundaries where some resources are not directly employed by NHS England• Running large complex programmes with a number of strands, both new and emergent• Delivering bespoke leadership programme through technical experts within Talent Management and Leadership Development• Coaching, mentoring and support staff, particularly from global majority to develop into senior roles• Member of the BAME Network – both in an advisory capacity and participation
