Current Industrial Research Projects: 1. Rapid Environmental Monitoring Using Autonomous Systems (Completed)-Developed a joint Bayesian estimator to model wave–vessel interactions and estimate unknown vessel parameters and sea states. This work supported the online monitoring of maritime environments, contributing to the automation of sea operations for DSTG (Maritime Division). Enhancing the Royal Australian Navy’s Undersea Surveillance Minimum Viable Capability-Developing a multi-target/object tracking system under uncertainty using the Random Finite Set (RFS)-based Generalized Labeled Multi-Bernoulli (GLMB) filter to enhance undersea surveillance capabilities. With the limited and noisy information from bearings from multiple channels of a passive sensor, I am developing a Multi-Channel GLMB algorithm to fuse measurement information from different channels and estimate the tracks of multiple targets, along with their uncertain and time-varying numbers, in a region.
