I represent and advise both public sector and private sector clients on government issues, including government contracts (bidding, bid protests and negotiations), California\'s Political Reform Act (ethics, conflict of interest, lobbying, political campaign and campaign contribution requirements and restrictions), the drafting of legislation and regulations, California\'s open meeting laws (the Brown Act and the Bagley-Keene Act) and the Public Records Act. I have represented clients before the Public Utilities Commission on a variety of energy issues. I advise and represent clients on administrative law matters (including administrative hearings and writs), nonprofit issues, legislative and statutory analysis. I have been the principal drafter on statewide ballot measures, and have represented clients on many state and local ballot measures.
