ABOUT RANAMIT BANERJEE
Ron is a corporate finance associate in the Global Transactions group at Freshfields. He has a broad finance practice, specialising in advising private equity funds, alternative capital providers, corporates and lenders on a range of complex debt solutions. He has previously been on secondments to the firm\'s offices in Washington DC and Hong Kong and to CarVal Investors. Ron works across the debt products to create bespoke instruments for his clients - he has experience working on securitisations, general lending, commodities & receivables financings, acquisition financing, asset-backed deals, structured products and OTC derivatives. In terms of asset classes, he has worked on consumer and auto loan receivables, mortgages and distressed assets.Event driven finance is a common element of many of Ron\'s deals. Having completed his undergraduate law degree at the University of Warwick, he was called-to-the-Bar by the Hon\'ble Society of the Middle Temple as a Benefactors\' Scholar.
