ABOUT RAMSEY GHAZZAWI

From a young age, the value of hard work and motivation has been uniquely instilled in me. As a first-generation child learning about my roots and my new space simultaneously, I have been able to garner a work ethic which is, in my opinion, unmatched. The precious life lessons I have learned from my parents, complemented by my interests and passions, have allowed me to become independently successful at a young age. At just fifteen years old, I launched my first social media company which worked to resell limited edition clothing items and sneakers to collectors and boutiques alike. This was new and exciting for me, however, I wanted more from the fashion industry. At seventeen years old, I launched my first clothing brand which had a span of all general garments (t-shirts, jackets, pants) all embedded with my original graphic designs. Since then, I have temporarily retired the brand to focus on freelance graphic design projects and creative direction for other brands while simultaneously pursuing a Bachelor\'s in Strategic Corporate Communication at Chapman University (alongside a minor in Entrepreneurship). Despite my independent entrepreneurial ventures, I have also worked standard jobs to sharpen my interpersonal communication skills such as in the foodservice industry as a high school student, as well as a garment production intern and educational counselor during my transition from high school into college. I believe that my unique upbringing and perspectives in the ways businesses conduct themselves, specifically through ad-campaigns and establishing brand-recognition, would be highly valuable to employers. I am currently looking for and applying to, marketing internships for Summer 2020 in Los Angeles, Orange County, and New York City.
