ABOUT RAMISAH CHOWDHURY

I currently work as a Rail Ombudsman at the Ombuds Group, where I focus on ensuring fairness. My role involves carefully evaluating evidence from all parties to reach fair and well-reasoned conclusions.Throughout my career, I\'ve developed strong transferable skills such as client service, problem-solving, research, and analytical thinking. These skills have been refined through a variety of experiences, including roles in an independent ophthalmic practice, pro-bono initiatives, and serving as a Student Representative.I\'ve also gained valuable experience through a legal internship at Cole Khan Solicitors and client-facing roles with Hertfordshire Law Clinic, Citizens Advice Bureau, and court-based work with Shelter. My legal skills include drafting advice letters, conducting in-depth research, recording detailed attendance notes, and leading fact-finding interviews.I\'m passionate about using my knowledge and skills to make a meaningful contribution to the legal sector, always striving for fairness and integrity in my work.
