ABOUT RAMI ALFAQAWI
Dr. Rami is a pavement engineer at Pavement Testing Services (PTS). He works in technical delivery of a range of consultancy projects and research related projects in the field of pavement.He works on pavement evaluation including back analysis and estimate the residual life and suggesting the appropriate treatment of existing pavement engineering. In addition he is leading research projects to develop and improve asphalt and pavement materials and construction.Dr Rami is a Pavement Engineer (PhD, MSc, BSc) with excellent academic records and technical skills.In July 2018, Dr Rami was awarded a PhD degree from the University of Nottingham. His professional interests include pavement analysis and design, Behaviour of pavement materials, Asphalt mixture testing, Bitumen rheology and materials specification.Dr Rami has demonstrated valuable experience in undertaking a comprehensive set of asphalt and bitumen tests using advanced laboratory testing equipment as well as analysing and interpreting the associated results. Dr Rami obtained his master degree in civil engineering-infrastructure (with distinction) from the University of Nottingham. He has obtained extensive knowledge in road design, pavement materials, traffic and highway management.
