Currently working as a Production Supervisor, where I am managing a dynamic team and contributing to operational excellence within a modular housing manufacturing environment. My job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:1. Leading a 40-member unionized team across 3 production lines, overseeing daily production operations, shift scheduling, and team performance.2. Improving operational efficiency by applying Lean Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban methodologies — resulting in a 5.5% production increase in the first year and 11.5% in the second.3. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduce downtime, and boost throughput.4. Ensuring compliance with WHMIS, OSHA, and OH & S standards by conducting regular safety audits, readiness checks, and employee training.5. Collaborating with cross-functional departments including design, maintenance, logistics, and planning to align production goals.6. Supervising maintenance coordination, enforcing SOP adherence, and maintaining up-to-date documentation and production records.7. Utilizing Homebase, Progress, and Web Schedule for real-time KPI tracking, workforce management, and production planning.8. Fostering a high-performance culture by coaching team members, reviewing KPIs, and supporting skill development initiatives.
