Project Undertaken: 1) Project: Road Improvement Works (RIW) in Southern Areas (2021) Client: Public Work Authority (Ashghal)/ Consultant: Dorsch The project’s total value is QAR (m) and will be completed in 12 months.2) Project: Road & Infrastructure in Al Kharaitiyat-Zone#02 & 03 Client: Public Work Authority (Ashghal)/ Consultant: KEO International 3) Project: Road & Infrastructure in Semaisma South Package 02 (Zone#02 & 03) Client: Public Work Authority (Ashghal)/ Consultant: KEO InternationalRoles & Responsibilities: Responsible for obtaining details quotations and information from the Suppliers / Subcontractors, evaluating the Bid Summary Report, and negotiating the Purchase / Subcontract agreements against the project requirement, timely deliveries, and acceptable commercial terms by the company; ensuring contribution and sharing information to the Operation Manager /Commercial Manager related to procurement work, Subcontracts procedure, market strategies, sources, financial aspects, logistics, and contractual issues. Assist with the development of the contract and procurement strategy, policies, procedures, and best practices for both the programmed and various Projects. Estimating the Tender documents / Extracting the BOQ Packages and preparing cost evaluation for Pre-Contracts. Overall responsibility for all Procurement for Project Sites, Plant yards & Various departments, etc. Technical and commercial evaluation of prequalified subcontractors\' Bids and recommendation of award to the management, ensuring the performance bank guarantee and insurance is in place and valid during the life of the project per requirements of the Contract. Preparing the sub-contract agreement for every vendor in lieu of different contract document Preparing and maintaining a database for tracking and evaluation of tenders, contracts, change orders, certificates, approvals, and the like during the life of the projects.
