Develops workshop and diagnostic manual documents for FORD Global Vehicles- Responsible for developing ‘Description & Operation’ and ‘Diagnosis & Testing’ procedures for assigned equities- Authors information using various electronic systems, such as Teamcenter, ArborText, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word and Excel- Having basic knowledge of On-board diagnostics, UDS protocol, CAN protocol, LIN, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), Data Identifiers (DID)- Analyses program specific wiring subsystem schematics, CAD files, base documents, network topology and control module specific Part II specification (detailed information of DTCs and DIDs involved)- Develops technical information using client supplied resources, such as subject matter expert, engineering schematics, product teardowns- Validates technical information based on client supplied information- Consults with various clients contact and subject matter experts to gather product specific information- Participates in meetings with clients, subject matter experts and departmental co-workers- Responsible for delivery of projects which are on time, within budget and accurate- Providing training to new joiners.
