As a seasoned professional in the field DevOps, I oversee a crucial aspect of Zoom\'s operations. My team and I are responsible for maintaining and optimizing over 50 Kubernetes clusters hosted on the AWS Cloud platform. Our primary objective is to ensure a seamless and high-quality video meeting experience for Zoom\'s users while continuously introducing innovative features. Zoom\'s cutting-edge offerings include Calendar integration, meeting scheduling, Whiteboard collaboration, and Artificial Intelligence-powered capabilities such as real-time meeting minutes generation and distribution to stakeholders. These features enhance communication and productivity for our users. Leading a team of five skilled professionals, I spearhead daily operations and contribute to technical endeavors. We leverage automation tools like Helm Charts, Terraform, and Ansible to streamline Kubernetes cluster management, ensuring efficient and scalable operations. To maintain visibility and proactive monitoring of our infrastructure, we have implemented robust solutions. Elastic Stack provides comprehensive log monitoring, while Prometheus handles system monitoring, enabling us to identify and address potential issues promptly. During my tenure, I have successfully implemented ArgoCD CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments and automated certificate management across all clusters. This has significantly improved our deployment processes and enhanced security posture. Furthermore, I actively contribute to monthly infrastructure patches, security enhancements, and the adoption of agile methodologies to streamline our workflows. By embracing best practices and staying ahead of industry trends, we ensure that Zoom\'s infrastructure remains resilient, secure, and capable of delivering an exceptional user experience.
