Dr. Rahman is an academic, policy researcher and her areas of interest are International Economics and development economics. Dr. Rahman started her journey in policy research with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), United Nations. She was chosen to represent India in the VI BRICS International School 2022 in Moscow, Russian Federation.
