My job as a business development professional is to create connections with potential clients and find new business opportunities. I keep track of potential clients in a database and use various methods like cold calling, referrals, and online channels to find fresh leads.I also help write new business proposals and keep up-to-date with the company\'s products and services. I work with senior management to set up meetings with potential clients and follow company procedures for gaining customers.I have a skill for negotiating prices with clients to make sure we remain competitive and profitable. I also make sure clients pay on time and accurately.To track our progress, I create reports and forecasts for future revenue growth. Overall, my job is to help the company expand its customer base and revenue through new business acquisition.
