Partner and business lawyer with 25+ years of experience advising businesses in corporate and commercial litigation, insolvency, distressed M&A, compliance, corporate formation, corporate governance, commercial transactions, cyber law, regulatory actions, and cross-border issues. He also specializes in business law and litigation in all federal and state courts in Delaware. His international law experience particularly in international commercial transactions brings a unique and nuanced approach to business issues both inside and outside of distressed situations. He has served in various leadership positions in law firms including co-founding a Delaware office, as a Managing Shareholder for the Delaware office of a regional firm, as a responsible partner, and as a practice group chair. He is an extensive writer and lecturer. He is the Co-Editor of and author of several chapters in the American Bar Association’s Reorganizing Failing Businesses (3rd Edition Rafael X. Zahralddin and Megan Adeyemo, eds.)(August 2017). He was also a 2019 Philadephia Inquirer \"Influencer of Law\", Philadelphia Business Journal 2020 Best of the Bar, and Philadelphia Business 2020 Journal Minority Business Leader. He also is a recipient of the Community Service award from the Delaware Bar Association’s Multi-cultural section.
