ABOUT RACHEL MACTAGGART

I\'m the Head of Podcasts, Music, and Games at IMDb, the world\'s most popular and authoritative source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrities, with more than 200 million monthly visitors worldwide. At IMDb, I\'m responsible for the cross-organizational program to extend IMDb experiences into podcasts, music, and games, enabling IMDb to delight even more fans, professionals, creators, and influencers. I work with teams across Amazon to grow the IMDb audience, and deliver engaging IMDb content to millions of Amazon customers worldwide. Since joining IMDb in 2006, I\'ve led many product innovations utilizing IMDb\'s rich, authoritative information. In 2012, I was part of the team that launched X-Ray for Prime Video, an exclusive feature that gives instant access to cast, characters, music, trivia photos, videos and other bonus materials as part of the viewing experience. Between 2017 and 2021, I led the integration of IMDb\'s content within Alexa experiences, so fans can easily get answers to their most pressing entertainment questions. I\'m also a passionate proponent of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and serve as an Amazon Web Services GetIT Ambassador, an organization designed to inspire and encourage girls to consider a career in tech. I also lead the Amazon Women in Engineering (AWE) chapter in Bristol, UK. I began my career in product development at Hyder in Cardiff, Wales, moving through multiple industries including utilities, telecoms, and the defense industry. I\'m a graduate of Swansea Metropolitan University, and reside in Bristol - where IMDb was founded in 1990. I was born and raised in mid-Wales, my first computer was a Commodore 16. I\'m passionate about all things entertainment. My favorite film is the David Niven/Kim Hunter classic A Matter of Life and Death (1946), and my go-to podcast is Kermode and Mayo\'s Take (2022-). My musical pleasure is the 80\'s Norwegian pop sensation a~ha.
