ABOUT QUINN RUNKLE
As Director of Education at SOS-UK, I lead our campaigns, advocacy and programmatic work to transform education to be a positive force for sustainability and social justice. I believe in education\'s ability to change society and work alongside passionate colleagues and young people to deliver programmes, events and campaigns that work to embed sustainability through all aspects of learning, support more student leadership, and ensure sustainability is inclusive for everyone. My portfolio spans primary, secondary and tertiary education, in the UK and globally. I have a Masters in Education from the UCL Institute of Education, where my research focused on transformative learning experiences, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Geography (Environment and Sustainability) with a Minor in Political Science from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada. I have achieved Practitioner IEMA membership. Named \'Top 30 Under 30 Environmental Educators\' by the North American Association for Environmental Education in 2017 and recognised by the UK National Association for Environmental Education as a Fellow in 2022.
