Most recently, I served as interim executive director of a major trade association in the gambling industry. For clients and employers, I accomplish public affairs, legislative, public relations, digital marketing, and business development goals in complex public policy areas requiring high-level executive relationships; and strategic, creative, responsive, and effective messaging. I’m known as the rare “one-stop” shop who can take your government relations issue from start to finish, including market research; community and consensus building; lobbying; effective representation to elected officials; responsive messaging and communications, and hard-hitting public relations campaigns, including both print and digital marketing, and social media. I’ve worked for both The Miami Herald and the Sun-Sentinel,(major South Florida newspapers) and have an insiders’ perspective on media relations. I specialize in Florida pari-mutuels, gambling and casinos, but also have worked extensively at the executive level with property casualty insurance, and municipal issues. I understand the gravity and the stakes of conveying a client’s issue, and know that some of the best business insight can be found between the lines of legislation. I was twice named by South Florida Business Journal as an “Up and Comer” finalist, and a “Woman of the Year” finalist by South Florida Women in Communications. I served on the Boards of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber, Miramar-Pembroke Pines Chamber, Volunteer Broward, Winterfest Boat Parade, Hollywood Boys and Girls Club, United Way, the Super Bowl and Breeders’ Cup Host Committees, Greater Miami Chamber Sports Council and Legislative Package Committees, Broward Alliance and Greater Fort Lauderdale Advertising Federation, among others.
