QMC ED is seeking to develop a dynamic multiprofessional collective leadership model, with aspirations to become one of the best emergency departments in the world. We seek to create a flexible, educated and skilled emergency department team capable of delivering state of the art, evidence based compassionate care to the people of Nottingham and its surrounds. Prevention and promoting health are high on our agenda and education of both staff and patients and research are integral to our ambition. We are working increasingly closely with colleagues across the urgent and emergency care pathway to break down the artificial boundaries that often frustrate optimum care provision.
