For 50 years, Mesa area residents and online students have enjoyed the lifetime rewards and benefits of attending our nationally-recognized college. With five campus and affiliate locations, more than 180 programs, degrees, and certificates offered, MCC is host to well over students annually. Our award-winning faculty are dedicated to student success and leads the way in introducing undergraduate research to community collegesDepartment ChairLed the administration of the department through a college-wide 30% decline in enrollment. Grew programs and enrollments in the department from the 6th largest department on campus to the largest department within the college during that time. Developed and implemented new programs in Sports Management, Insurance, and Digital Marketing. Developed and implemented strategies that reduced department costs by 18%. Initiated marketing programs that expanded program development and enrollments. Developed cross-department degrees and certificates.Interim Dean of Career & Technical EducationProviding academic leadership, direction, guidance, and support to the Business & Information Systems, Administrative Justice Studies, Fire Science, and Applied Science Departments. Responsible for 100+ degree & certificate programs encompassing 600 full and part-time faculty with more than participating students.Chairman of the Department Chair AssociationThe DCA is the leadership organization representing all academic departments within Mesa Community College. Department Chairs work together through this council to foster the mission and vision of the college while focusing on program development and student success and completion through effective teaching and learning.
