Designed and implemented a multiple host VMware cluster. Used to provide students with 24 X 7 access to lab equipment. Supported clients with issues connecting. Managed other staff with this project.Lead faculty for the Microsoft and Security programs. Implemented classes with virtualized clients and servers, eliminating the need to swap out hard drives between classes. Supervise adjunct teachers through classroom support and regular evaluations. Support Microsoft, NetWare, Linux, and Cisco routers and PIX/ASA firewalls. Upgraded department Active Directory and web sites from Server 2003 to Server 2008 R2. Network support has included recovering passwords, configuring Windows computers and Cisco PIX/routers, upgrading PIX RAM and operating system, and troubleshooting remote access issues. Managed creation of Disaster Recovery project for the Phoenix Civic plaza. Involved identifying the project scope, breaking down and assigning the tasks to be completed with appropriate due dates. Solely responsible for implementing a community service program (Cybersafe Program) for parents and youth. Involved partnership between MCC college, Gilbert Public schools and Gilbert Police department that resulted in creation of a video that addresses the cyber safety issues. Presented seminars to national and statewide youth conference concerning Internet safety.
