While working for The Larson Group-TLG as the Corporate Director of Risk & Safety, my responsibilities include overseeing the organization\'s comprehensive insurance, risk management, environmental/sustainability programs, health program and workplace safety programs (EHS). Assess and identify risks that could impede the safety, security, and financial success of the organization. Oversee all insurance claims with worker compensation, garage and auto liability. Other duties: • Conduct risk assessments, collect and analyze documentation, statistics, reports and market trends.• Establish policies and procedures to identify and address risks in all of the organization’s departments. • Review and assess risk management policies and protocols; make recommendations, implement modifications and improvements. • Recommend and implement risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, and recovery measures.• Draft and present risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.• Oversee all KPI’s as related to the EHS safety performance.• Investigate and analyze all safety incidents. Manage workers\' compensation claims and provide mitigation suggestions.• Review company EHS program, OSHA codes of federal regulation and safety trainings.• Conduct on-site safety inspections and oversee vehicle camera safety program (Geotab).• Manage ISO risk & safety compliance program.• Ensure safety objectives are being met and maintained.• Train, implement, and review new policies and procedures. Champion organizational change to adopt proactive safety culture.• lead both tactical & strategic health/safety functional support for organization. Develop and implement strict budget for companywide safety program.
